All abstracts must be submitted online in English through the official website. See submission deadline in "Important dates" below.
Access to session rooms
Seating is regulated on a first-come, first served basis. We recommend you present at the session room well in advance of the session. Due to safety regulations, access to the session will be closed if all seats are occupied. Delegates are not permitted to stand in the aisles of the session rooms.
There is a cash machine in the lobby of the Hotel Fairmont Rey Juan Carlos I, located next to the congress venue.
Certificate of attendance
Your certificate of attendance will be sent by e-mail after the congress ends.
Continuing Medical Education - CME
The congress will apply European accreditation through the EACCME in Brussels. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). UEMS accreditation includes a charter with the American Medical Association towards the Physician's Recognition Award (PRA).

The official congress language is English. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.
The name badge will be the official ticket and should be worn at all times in order to access meeting rooms and exhibition halls. In case of losts or forgotten badges, an administration fee of €20,- will be charged for a new one.
Photography, audio, video and mobile phone policy
Audio, photo and video recording by any device is strictly prohibited during all oral and poster sessions, unless prior permission is obtained from the congress organiser. Mobile phones must be turned onto silent mode while attending sessions.
Smoking in the congress is prohibited by law.
